IOIC Ireland: speak up, speak out and listen in.
IOIC Ireland: speak up, speak out and listen in.
IOIC Network events bring practitioners together to connect, learn and share perspectives with peers.
This lunch and learn session features Iain Adams, former senior internal communication manager, UK and Ireland, at BASF, who will share his insight on creating a culture where colleagues can speak up, ask questions, admit mistakes and challenge the status quo without fear of embarrassment, punishment or negative consequences.
Iain will look at the steps to take so that change can come naturally, and performance improves as a result.
Why this matters
Doing great work often means navigating constraints, complexity and change. Network sessions mean you do not have to do this alone. They offer a safe and welcoming space with like-minded professionals local to you, to share stories, tips and lessons learned.
What you'll gain
- Practical insight grounded in experience
- The chance to learn how others are tackling similar challenges
- Connection with practitioners in your local area
Who it's for
Designed for internal communication professionals at all career levels across Ireland, although the event is open to all regions.
How it works
This event will take place on Zoom. Once you have booked, the link to join will be in your confirmation email, or alternatively log into your website account, go to My account - Dashboard - Bookings - View Booking - Join Zoom meeting. To allow for open conversation, network events are not recorded.
