Head of Internal and External Communication, Voyage Care

Alli Cary is Head of Internal and External Communications at Voyage Care, a leading adult social care provider. Alli has over 15 years’ communications experience in health and social care, specialising in Internal Communications for the past 9 years.

In her current role at Voyage Care, Alli has established a multi-award winning team who thrive on connecting people to the organisation’s purpose, bringing the stories of colleagues and the vulnerable people they support to life.

She is an IoIC Fellow and holds a BA Hons in Visual Communication, along with a Masters in Internal Communications Management.

Alli lives and works in the Midlands and spends her free time playing netball, baking and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Shalini Gupta

Head of Internal Communications, UKIMEA, Arup

With over two decades of international experience, Shalini has extensive experience of advising leadership teams during periods of change and delivering communications that drive successful  business outcomes. Shalini's career highlights include roles across India, Middle East and the UK at RSA, GE Capital, Aviva, BT, NatWest group and since Sept 2022 at Arup where she is the Head of Internal Communications for the UKIMEA region. In her current role, Shalini has established a talented team who thrive on connecting people to the organisation’s purpose, bringing the stories of colleagues and clients they support to life. As a passionate Fellow of the IoIC, Shalini is a keen mentor for young talent and champions diversity of voice within our industry.

Justine Stevenson FIIC

Director of Internal Communication and Employee Engagement, AQA

Justine has been working in Internal Communications for more than 20 years and has had the opportunity to work in fantastic organisations across a range of sectors. She has been a member of IoIC throughout her entire IC career and has served as a board member for a significant portion of that time. Currently, she chairs the annual awards and is continually amazed by the excellence within the profession.

Jarrod Williams

Head of digital content and channels, St. James's Place

Jarrod is an award-winning chartered communications professional specialising in digital strategy, internal communications, brand, and transformation. With over 15 years of experience across financial services, housing, and non-profit sectors, he excels in delivering strategic messages through creative content and purposeful channels.

As Head of Digital Channels and Content at FTSE-listed St. James's Place, he leads global digital employee experience engaging 3,000 employees and more than 17,000 people in SJP's Partnership community. At housing association Bromford, he led communications for a £65 million transformation programme and spearheaded the response to a major cyber incident, where his approach to transparency and leadership visibility was highly commended.

Passionate about user-centred design, accessibility and inclusivity, and exploring the future of IC and digital comms, Jarrod regularly contributes to industry discussions as a panellist and guest speaker. He serves as Officer Commanding of the RAF Air Cadets Volunteer Communications Team, where he was recognised with a New Year's Honours commendation in 2023.
