Thrive Well Development Programme

Thrive Well Development Programme

How do you stay well, think clearly and perform at your best in a world of constant change, competing priorities and increasing demands?

Grounded in neuroscience, positive psychology and practical behaviour change, this 8-week programme provides the knowledge, tools and habits to help you build resilience, strengthen self-awareness and sustain your energy under pressure.

Through a combination of learning, reflection and practical application, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of how your brain, mindset, habits and environment influence wellbeing, performance and long-term success.

The programme is delivered by leading expert Deborah Hulme. Harnessing her deep expertise in neuroscience and leadership, Deborah transforms complex science into pratical strategies for enhanced wellness and performance.

What will you learn?

Module 1: Foundation and Assessment

Recognise and strengthen the foundations necessary to stay well and perform well in a changing and demanding world. Identify where you are starting from, reflecting on where you may benefit from focusing your attention throughout the programme.

Key Topics:

  • Core Components: learn the core components that support wellbeing, resilience, energy and sustainable performance and how they work together to create a strong foundation.
  • Assessment: identify where you are now, where you would like to be, and the energy reserves available to support the journey.
  • Awareness: learn the importance of self-compassion, its impact on wellbeing and performance, and how past experiences can continue to influence thoughts, behaviours and energy.

Module 2: Brain and Mind

Change your thoughts, change your brain, change your reality. The greater your understanding of how the brain and mind work together, the greater your ability to influence your thinking, habits and responses. By understanding and improving how you think, you can develop greater cognitive flexibility, adaptability and performance under pressure.

Key Topics:

  • Cognitive flexibility: learn how the conscious and subconscious mind work together and what they require to support learning, growth and high performance.
  • Change: understand how the brain changes through experience and repetition, and what this means for learning, habit formation and personal growth.
  • Mindset: explore the power of mindset, learn how to reduce unhelpful thinking patterns and create more constructive pathways for thinking and action.

Module 3: Stress Management and Social Connection

Learn practical strategies to manage pressure, regulate your response to stress and strengthen the relationships that support wellbeing, resilience and performance. Discover how small changes in the way you think, respond and connect can have a significant impact on your wellbeing, happiness and effectiveness.

Key Topics:

  • Stress triggers & management: learn how to recognise the signs of stress, understand your triggers and apply practical techniques to manage your response.
  • Stress mindset: explore how your beliefs about stress influence its impact, and learn how to harness pressure in ways that support growth, learning and performance.
  • Connection, performance & wellbeing: understand the vital role social connection plays in wellbeing, performance and resilience, and learn how to strengthen relationships while avoiding the dangers of isolation.

Module 4: Sustainable Wellbeing and Performance

Cultivate the thoughts, habits and practices that shape your experience of everyday life. Drawing on positive psychology and neuroscience, explore practical ways to strengthen wellbeing, increase positive emotions and create the conditions that help you thrive personally and professionally.

Key Topics:

  • Wellbeing set-point: understand how habits, experiences and thinking patterns influence your overall sense of wellbeing, and learn how to intentionally shift the dial.
  • Creating sustainable wellbeing: explore practical approaches that support wellbeing, fulfilment and resilience, helping you feel and function at your best more consistently.
  • Foundations of Wellbeing: discover the key pillars that underpin long-term wellbeing and learn how to strengthen them to support a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.
