Melanie Hinds is the Global Head of Internal Communications & Employee Engagement at Amnesty International. Melanie has over 25 years of corporate communications experience, covering public relations and internal comms. She has focussed on internal communications and employee engagement for the last 14 years. She has worked for various charitable organisations plus large complex organisations, ranging from 600 to over 13,000 employees, leading their communications strategies for internal and external stakeholders. She is passionate about accessible communications that respect diversity and inclusion, plus continued learning for professional and personal development. Melanie speaks to, mentors and coaches communications students.

Jennifer is responsible for the leadership of IoIC, the only independent professional body solely dedicated to internal communication. IoIC is the voice of internal communication, setting standards for more than 70 years through qualifications, career development, thought leadership and best practice.  

Prior to joining IoIC, Jennifer has worked for over 20 years in professional associations, most recently as Strategic Marketing & Sales Director at the Market Research Society, developing and leading on activities across marketing communications (both internal & external), careers, membership, professional development and publishing. ­­­
