Thank you for your interest in becoming an IoIC Awards Judge.

This page contains the form to complete if you are interested in being an IoIC Awards Judge.

Eligibility

Each year we rotate our judges to ensure we have representation across the internal communication profession. We give priority to previous judges, our IoIC Fellows and last year’s award winners, up a maximum number that we would need for any given year. Should spaces then arise, we will then consider those who have complete the application form.

To be considered as an IoIC Awards Judge, you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Expertise in internal communication (in any industry, including agencies and freelancing)
  • Availability to participate in all aspects of the judging process (see expectations below).
  • Be at Level 3/4 on the IoIC Profession Map

Expectations

Judges are expected to:

  • Read the Judging Guide
  • Attend all relevant briefings
  • Be available to judge on the day(s) given – usually in late June
  • Be assigned, usually with a partner, to judge and score all entries in one or more categories
  • Score and report their feedback online using the forms provided
  • Compete judging by the required deadline, which includes all critiques, as well as scoring

Requirements

Judges are required to:

  • Sign a Non Disclosure Agreement
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest
