A basic knowledge of how to collect and analyse data and present findings is only going to become more important as all organisations look to use data in ever more sophisticated ways.

Part One (9.30 - 12.00 (BST))

  • Why research is important for internal communication professionals
  • What are quantitative research methods?
  • How to define your research purpose, objective and questions
  • Sampling methods
  • Surveys and polls, including survey design

Part Two (13.30 - 16.00 (BST))

  • Piloting your survey
  • Research ethics and data protection
  • Data analysis – answering your research question(s) and gaining insight
  • Reporting and presentation of your data
