Christina Fee

Christina is a senior communications specialist with more than 30 years' experience leading the internal communications functions for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Guinness, The AA, DHL/DeutschePost, The BBC, easyJet, eBay, Bupa, McLaren, and DS Smith Plc. She has also consulted for Vodafone, Syngenta Group and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). She has developed and led large-scale corporate change and transformation and communications programmes for major mergers and acquisitions, company and team integrations and culture change initiatives, plus international re-branding campaigns, leadership development and communications skills training programmes, and a multitude of global engagement campaigns and ED&I initiatives. She is used to working at all levels, from chairmen and politicians, to CEOs, board directors, and other senior executives - right through to colleagues on the front-line.

Her specialities include drawing on her big-brand experience to design compelling integrated communications that keep workforces connected to the brand/organisation during times of change, and creating messages, tools and campaigns that enrol disparate, non-wired workforces – with an excellent understanding of the way people hear messages and subsequently become engaged. She is adept at coaching leaders and teams, flexing to work at strategic or tactical level to embed the approach and hardwire engaging communications and culture change initiatives into the DNA of the organisation.

Christina also prides herself on a holistic approach to organisation design, team restructures and transformation, with a future state mindset applied to ensuring behaviour change is achieved as a result of the impactful interventions she constructs and implements. In her most recent role as Chief of Staff People & Culture at Fourtold, among other things, she worked with the Partners to help run Fourtold’s operations and created internal programmes to enable implementation of the business strategy. She also designed and rolled out the consultancy’s HR strategy, leading the function day-to-day and embedding a focused People & Culture plan to build the culture, incorporate a focus on employee wellbeing and community and unlock open and authentic dialogue about a host of important topics, including diversity and inclusion, PRIDE and the Menopause; through the inception of an ED&I Group and a Big Conversation series to ensure that all colleagues felt seen, were heard and could learn from and share experiences with each other.

Rammi Janack

Senior Internal Comms specialist with leading comms roles across central government, third sector, local government and now in an in house corporate role.  Rammi’s expertise lays in strategy that drives better  internal communications and employee engagement through creating exciting comms campaigns as well as being able to see the bigger picture and bringing stakeholders together. 

Her expertise in Internal Communications, has been based on a varied career as a freelancer and government comms specialist with skills in employee engagement, PR, media, brand and marketing, social media and face to face. 

Rammi is also passionate about driving better diversity and inclusion in workplaces something that was ignited at a young age through her lived experience in West London and in her early career working on race relations comms at the Mayors office and unfortunately some other more negative experiences of direct and in direct discrimination - which she shares openly. 

Rammi advocates regularly for the rights of minority communities, with a particular interest in improving the experience for South Asian women - she is a coach and mentor through the IoIC and has sat at board level for charities and is excited to bring this opportunity to her network and beyond. 

Kamiqua Lake

Kamiqua is a Senior Strategist who fuses creativity with strategic nous to deliver campaigns and communications that matter.

Kam has worked agency-side and in-house across a myriad of sectors and disciplines from brand PR, FMCG and consumer health, to fashion, retail, corporate communications, travel and reputation management.

Having held leading positions in global agencies including Weber Shandwick, H&K Strategies and Virgo Health, Kam has led integrated communications for national and multinational companies including J&J, Aldi, Hertz, Reckitt, Mondelez International and Coca Cola.

In 2020 Kam used the depth and breadth of my experience to establish Coldr, an award-winning, inclusive marketing PR and social impact consultancy, that employs a community-first approach to coax brands out of their comfort zone, build relevancy and drive business growth.

Kam is passionate about inclusion, building communities and inspiring the next generation, she is a Trustee for the RNIB, a mentor and a qualified life coach.

Frustrated by the lack of Black inclusion in the industry and keen to create a safe space for Black pros, Kam established the UK Black Comms Network, a 250 strong membership body that empowers PR and communications professionals to connect, network and thrive.

Keen to inspire the next generation, Kam is a founding member of Industry Advisory Board for the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London and lectures on ‘Agency Life’ to support students to bridge the gap between their academic study and working in the PR industry.

Sonia Squires

Head of Internal Communications, Citizen Housing

Sonia Squires is Head of Internal Communications at Citizen Housing. Sonia started her career working in higher education institutions, the University of Manchester and the University of Huddersfield where she worked with under-represented groups, supporting and encouraging young people to achieve their ambition. She then found her calling with internal communications, working for the NHS, AQA and most recently in social housing. Sonia’s passion is in supporting leaders with their communication so that they develop a greater connection with their teams. This stems from her MBA dissertation which focused on the importance of leadership in employee engagement and the significant impact it has every day.  

A mum of two young girls (3 and 5), Sonia spends her weekends exploring new places/ parks and singing lots of Disney and Bollywood songs on repeat. Vegan for nearly 10 years, Sonia's a big Derby County fan, and has a season ticket for the Rams cheering them on through good times, and bad!
