What inspired you to become a member of IoIC?
I was keen for myself and my team to join the IoIC for a couple of reasons, 1. To unlock the wealth of resources which are available to members and 2. To help further credentialise the team and bring a professional IC mindset to what we do.
Could you describe your current role in internal communication and how you think our membership might support you in this role?
As the Communications Lead for HSBC’s Global Legal function, my team and I are responsible for supporting our Chief Legal Officer and their ExCo in leading the communication and engagement of our Legal colleagues around the globe. I believe the IoIC membership will help us in opening up a network of like-minded professionals who we can exchange ideas and best practice with, as well as tapping into the wealth of resources which exist online at the IoIC.
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a member?
Simply do it, take the leap and you’ll reap the rewards.

Tell us a fun fact about you that not many people know?
Many years ago now…I was once a Dodgeball champion – and have some silverware (and maybe a photo or two) somewhere in the loft to prove it!
