FutureNet is the first and only network of its kind dedicated to supporting the development of the internal communication profession and its future leaders.

Our purpose

FutureNet exists in order to provide a safe space for the existing pool of emerging IC talent to connect and learn from one another; to increase awareness of internal communication as a career of choice; and to champion the importance of a more diverse and inclusive profession for the future.

Who is it for?

The FutureNet network is open to IoIC members who have three years or less experience in internal communication as we feel that it is important to provide IC newcomers with a safe space where they can ask questions, learn, develop and feel supported by their peers. However, we recognise the passionate desire of all internal communication practitioners to drive the development of this important profession and so we call upon anyone who has an interest in supporting FutureNet initiatives to become involved.

Why should I join the network?
Why should I encourage my team to join the network?

Be part of shaping the future of the internal communication profession Demonstrate your commitment to your team's professional development
Receive career advice and have early access to opportunities for progression Raise awareness of your organisation as a great place to work, learn and develop

To apply to join the network, please complete the online application form. For more information contact [email protected]. Please note that you must be a member of the IoIC in order to join the FutureNet network. Non-members are more than welcome to attend FutureNet events for a nominal fee. If you feel that you meet the FutureNet criteria - an internal communicator with less than three years experience - please email [email protected] to find out about subsidised IoIC membership.
