Communications training for line managers

We know that line managers are one of the most valuable communication channels in organisations. But many line managers are not necessarily natural communicators, meaning organisations are missing vital opportunities for successful communication to take place.

IoIC trainers, and communications and leadership specialists, Dominic Walters and Susan Lewes-Daly, have designed this two part training course which can be delivered in-house for line managers in any organisation and which will equip line managers with the skills and knowledge required to become confident and effective communicators, as well as providing insights regarding the role of line managers within the communication matrix.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • have a clear understanding of the communication role for line managers and its importance
  • be equipped with the skills and techniques to build confidence and communicate effectively
  • be able to apply the skills and techniques to day to day work

  • Articulating messages so they are clear, understandable and memorable
