This virtual course delivered over two live sessions is packed with tips, techniques and the opportunity to learn from course tutor, Liz Cochrane, as well as fellow participants. It brings level one of the IoIC profession map to life and is ideal for internal communication professionals who are in the early stages of their IC career. Explore both the 'What?' and 'Why?' of communication so you can pack a punch and deliver added value communication.

From change programmes to strategic narrative, internal communicators are being called upon to take a more strategic approach to writing. This interactive workshop will equip delegates with the techniques and knowledge they need to write at a strategic level and to have real business impact. This course is ideal for internal communicators who have either taken the Writing Skills for the Internal Communication Professional course or who are at a manager level or above.

While changes in ways of working continue to accelerate, many organisations are experiencing increasing cynicism and fatigue towards change initiatives. This course will address these challenges head-on, exploring the critical role of Agile in navigating constant change, especially AI, and in ensuring organisations stay relevant and sustainable in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. Attendees will also learn how to use AI to tackle Agile fatigue as well as enhance communication, boost engagement and improve productivity.

This highly interactive training focusses on deepening knowledge, skills and insight around change communication - helping participants attain a more profound understanding and advanced skill-set for effective practice. The course will also help attendees take a further step in their own development, including how to use coaching principles to influence senior leaders and specific negotiation skills to support and drive change.

Using internal communication to maximise performance, realise potential and raise productivity: This highly interactive programme will equip internal communicators with the skills and confidence required to seize this opportunity. It will enable them to have the right conversations with leaders, identify and pull the levers of high performance and do what’s needed to deliver real business benefit. The course has coaching and usability at its core, aiming to help each participant develop their own approach and apply the principles discussed in the way that best suits their own organisations. 

This workshop will explore how culture works to shape organisational reality and why it is so difficult to ‘see’ it and change it. It will consider what kind of communication practice works for culture management, including how and when to communicate values and what these should look like for maximum effect. The course will also look at how how communicators can generate powerful insights about culture and how to use these insights to support leaders in shaping culture through communication.

This half-day training will provide expert guidance and proven strategies for understanding and communicating with your hard-to-reach colleagues, including building insights, using data, channel selection and use and techniques for driving engagement. The session will also ensure you are able to measure and evaluate the success of your communications, using these insights to progress and demonstrate impact.

A session exclusively for past participants of Culture Change and Culture Management for Communicators. To share best practice, discuss the application of knowledge and tools, and an opportunity to ask questions about communication and culture change or understanding/managing existing culture.
