About Christina

With over three decades of experience in Human Resources, I have navigated through various roles, gaining comprehensive insight into the intricacies of organizational dynamics. My journey led me to serve as the Director of Projects for a joint venture between Valaris and Saudi Aramco in the Middle East, where I contributed to shaping strategic initiatives and fostering collaborative endeavors.

Upon returning to the UK, I embraced a new challenge as I transitioned into a role focused on Transformation, leading the Communications, Change Management, and Organizational Health Workstream at Valaris. It was here that I discovered my passion for Organizational Health.

I firmly believe that in today’s dynamic business landscape, organizational health is paramount for sustainable success. It transcends mere culture or employee engagement; it is the alignment around a common vision, effective execution, and a culture of innovation and renewal. Drawing from my collaboration with leading management consultants during Valaris’s transformation, I honed my understanding of how organizational health impacts an organization’s resilience and longevity.

In my tenure, I have also focused on enhancing Internal Communications, recognizing its pivotal role in organizational health. I have developed and executed communication strategies that align with corporate objectives, foster employee engagement, and facilitate seamless change management. My efforts have been instrumental in creating a transparent communication environment that supports Valaris’s mission and values.

Driven by my commitment to employee well-being, I have taken on the mantle of championing the well-being and mental health strategy for Valaris. I spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall wellness and mental health of our employees, recognizing the profound impact it has on both individual performance and organizational success.

In my role, I am dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes mental health support, promotes open dialogue, and empowers employees to thrive both personally and professionally. Through continuous learning and innovation, I remain steadfast in leading Valaris on its journey towards organizational health excellence.
