This two-part interactive and practical virtual course will equip internal communicators with the knowledge, skills and tools they need connect with, and activate the communication power of, people managers. The programme will also support attendees with overcoming key challenges internal communicators face when working with people managers, the principles of providing feedback to support communication development, and building trust and compassion in manager-led communications.

This highly practical 3-week course will equip communicators with the knowledge and skills to successfully use scenario planning to assist with strategic decision making and improve operational performance, agility and resilience.

This course is designed to help internal communicators navigate disruption, manage work-related anxiety and actively shape the narrative for what’s likely to be the biggest transformation to date - AI. It combines the tactical discipline of Agile with the strategic reality and challenges of AI adoption, enabling attendees to build and maintain influence. The focus is on navigating nuances including organisational agility, the pace of change and leadership ambiguity, alongside the forces of technology and process change that must be adapted to, supported and communicated with confidence.

The course - split over two highly interactive sessions - will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to steer through the strategic maze and deliver clear, concise and strategic communications. The course will equip participants with the understanding and tools they need to convert strategy into communications actions; play a role in strategy formulation and development; and the ability to prepare and implement their own communications strategy.

This half-day training will provide expert guidance and proven strategies for understanding and communicating with your hard-to-reach colleagues, including building insights, using data, channel selection and use and techniques for driving engagement. The session will also ensure you are able to measure and evaluate the success of your communications, using these insights to progress and demonstrate impact.

This virtual learning course, delivered over two live sessions with opportunities for delegates to support and learn from one another in between, will equip internal communicators with the skills and knowledge to write confidently and effectively across a variety of channels and for a range of audiences.
