Many internal changes are driven by technology, process and digitalisation. Being able to effectively support and communicate these changes can be an ongoing challenge for internal communicators, particularly those who aren't confident in 'tech talk' or tech ways of working. This one-day workshop will provide communicators with practical knowledge and skills for planning and delivering great communications around tech change as well as guidance on working with, and influencing tech teams and partners.

This practical, insight-driven course equips communicators with the confidence and skills to help people navigate change with clarity, empathy, and trust - wherever they sit in the organisation, and however hard they are to reach. A core theme of the course is the power of listening not just as a communication skill, but as a superpower for leading change. Attendees will learn how to create opportunities for feedback, dialogue, and shared ownership - and how to effectively use insights to turn change from something that’s done to people into something that’s built with them.

We’ll look at how to communicate with gravitas and authority with both senior colleagues and clients. Internal communication plays an integral role in building and maintaining trust within organisations, and in the context of so much change and uncertainty – this role is more important than ever. Businesses are now recognising the significant impact of trust on organisational outcomes and viewing it as a strategic asset that must be measured, monitored and managed. Internal communicators are therefore perfectly placed to leverage and demonstrate their strategic value through trust. Through the workshop attendees will explore strategic internal communication approaches that support the creation and maintenance of trust in organisations, leaving with an action plan and tools to demonstrate their impact.

This highly interactive course split over two session explores both quantitative and qualitative research methods, looking at what you need to measure and what methods to use. It will provide guidance on best practice surveys and polls and research techniques to support your measurement, and how to create compelling dashboards to share your outcomes and insights with your stakeholders. The course aims to build confidence around understanding and using data, particularly when giving strategic advice and influencing stakeholders.

Scenario planning is one such tool. Grounded in narrative storytelling, it is a natural addition to the toolbox of internal communicators looking to deliver and demonstrate strategic value. This highly practical 3-week course will equip communicators with the knowledge and skills to successfully use scenario planning to assist with strategic decision making and improve operational performance, agility and resilience.

This highly interactive training focusses on deepening knowledge, skills and insight around change communication - helping participants attain a more profound understanding and advanced skill-set for effective practice. The course will also help attendees take a further step in their own development, including how to use coaching principles to influence senior leaders and specific negotiation skills to support and drive change.
